The Kanohi Zeyat is the Mask of Infatuation. It allows the user to enslave any target brought into contact with its' power, bringing them under the control of an artificially induced love created by the user of the Kanohi, bonding the enslaved to the user with virtually no way to break free. The induced love is similar to that which a Matoran would feel for an idolized Toa.
The instillation of feelings with a Kanohi Zeyat requires the user to be in physical contact with their target for at least ten continuous seconds of concentration, after which point there is no known way for the target to break the mask's spell. Meanwhile, the Noble version of this mask can still prompt feelings of adoration following ten seconds of contact, however the effects only last for a few hours and leave the user drained, which in turn prohibits them from utilizing their mask power more than once per day or so.
The mask's spell can be broken by a being with the power of Telepathy. Toa of Hunger and Avsa wearers also can remove the spell by draining the affected person's positive emotions. All instances, however, require prolonged use of the power on the target, except when the Zeyat's own wearer undoes the enslavement.
