Tarlyk was a Matoran of Iron on the Southern Islet of Manax Nui.

Biography

Valuri Prehistory

Tarlyk was created by the Maker Vakula as one of the Valuri, and inhabited a hidden islet. After being discovered by the Order of Mata Nui, the Valuri were seen as a threat to the Great Spirit, since it would be possible to create an army of Toa using their unique ability. Therefore, the Order set to slaughter the Valuri. Not wanting his creations to be destroyed, Vakula sealed them in stasis spheres and hid them beneath a Southern Islet called Manax Nui.

Fog

After being assigned to protect Manax Nui and its' "treasure", the Toa Onuka discovered the Valuri and the Hivakura in Stasis beneath the islet's surface. The Semi-Matoran were awakened from stasis, and given new names because of the memory loss caused by the Matoran Spheres. Tarlyk was given his name because it was an honorary name given to leaders in the Dome of Onurak Nui.

Early Sunsets

Tarlyk was given the status of Mine Advisor and was assigned to watch over and guard a settlement in Fe-Koro and therefore given an armor upgrade by the "Manax Meds", therefore giving him better physical strength and constitution than an ordinary Matoran.

After Iaja returned to Manax Nui, Tarlyk was startled by the sudden appearance of a Toa. In his panic, he sprung a steam trap on Iaja, which did not manage to kill the Toa. Tarlyk continued to pursue Iaja with a crew of Manax Meds, but was killed due to a weapon malfunction during his confrontation with Iaja.

Abilities & Traits

Tarlyk is a Valuri, which gives him the ability to transform into a Toa if exposed to Toa Energy even if it defies his Destiny.
