Takal was once a Fe-Matoran who became the Toa Navas of Iron on the Isle of Navas Nui.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Before becoming the mighty Toa Navas of Iron, Matoran Takal was, in many ways, a hermit. He lived in the Tennarai Jungle, far away from the village of Ota-Koro. Every now and again, he would wander into the village, barter away small trinkets he had made for food and other necessities, then head back through the foliage to his home.

As a Toa, Takal became much more active in the day-to-day life of the Navasan villages, often settling disputes with Matoran over land ownership, trade, and other disagreements. He quickly became a recognized symbol of peace throughout Navas Nui and considered Morel, the Toa Navas of Sonics, and Aivas, the Toa Navas of Stone, to be his best friends. Takal never got along very well with Vahro, the Toa Navas of Fire.

Around the year 2,000 B.G.C., a mutant Navas-Jaga threatened the village of Ota-Koro in the Tennarai Jungle. Takal rushed to the scene with his fellow teammates, and was killed in the subsequent battle along with his friend, Toa Aivas.

Abilities & Traits[]

Toa Takal had a mastery over the Elemental Power of Iron. He could manifest Iron in hundreds of different forms, and was known for creating chain links to bind his opponents. In addition, he could absorb Iron from the ground, and create spontaneous bursts of Iron spikes as an offensive attack. After years of practice and mental discipline, Takal could actually create molten Iron by vibrating the Iron atoms in any given piece of his Element, but the technique was strenuous, and was never used in combat.

In addition, Takal was very charismatic, a trait that he often used to bring a diplomatic end to arguments between Matoran and Toa alike, however he wasn't always very tactful, which often led to arguments of his own.

Mask & Tools[]

Takal wore a Kanohi Ijuta, Greak Mask of Tectonics, which further amplified his powers by allowing him to create earthquakes, and to pry open the earth for raw Iron Ore deposits to utilize. He was also a master of the Falchion and used his prowess to his advantage.
