Recla Nui Southeastern Island Location Info Residents Matoran, Various Rahi Population Unknown Position Northern Ackro Nui Pronunciation REHK-luh NOO-ee

The Isle of Recla Nui is a secondary landmass located within the Dome of Ackro Nui in the southern tip of the Eastern Chain of the Southern Islands of the Matoran Universe.

History

At some point, Toa Sewin was called in to help deal with a Rahi problem on the island.

Later, rookie Toa began to come and train on Recla Nui with the experienced Toa living there. Three current rookie Toa on the island are Eiros, Gerat, and Yuna, with the veterans being Ilos, Leros, and Zera.

The Toa were eventually forced into a team, the Toa Recla, as a result of various species of X-Force warriors appearing on the island. The Toa Recla began to fight the X-Eruo, X-Rahi, X-Skakdi and X-Rahkshi, who were already beginning to wage war on each other.

Three Makuta - Veix, Eish, and Seraph - soon arrived on the island, opening The Void for the sake of the Void Foundation, of which one of the bases was on Recla Nui, where their leader, the "Madam Director", was visiting that day.

Eventually, the structure of the island became endangered by the constant fighting between the X-Force tribes. The Void Foundation offered to fix things, but didn't, deciding to let the fights continue, leading to the arrival of Toa Cesare and his killing of Kes.

As the battles progressed, the Toa Recla eventually fought their way to the Void Foundation base and fought the head, Stiez. The battle cost the X-Rahi their lives, and nearly killed the Toa, but they managed to overcome the seemingly invincible Stiez and kill him.

However, at the same time, thousands of Eruo were on the island, hunting down Monsth and his men. A massive war broke out, which the Toa were thrust into as they tried to save the Matoran populace.

Culture

The island acts as a training grounds for rookie Toa in some situations.

Landscape

The island is primarily covered in trees and foliage, while some bodies of water also exist. The northern end of the island has a cliff with a village, while there are also villages on the eastern and western ends. The south is completely covered in mountains, hiding the base of the Void Foundation on the island.

Inhabitants

• A number of Matoran, the primary inhabitants of the island, as well as at least seven Toa.
• Several species of Rahi, which are constant menaces to the island.
• At least two Skakdi
• At least five Rahkshi
• A number of Eruo, including one Rges and two Junkers, as well as a gathering of Eruo themselves.
• Numerous beings of various other Sapient Species, all a part of the Void Foundation; some being personnel, and other being experiments.
